Minidollies
Spending
time with the ones you love is like watching sunflowers bloom...
it makes you smile!
The history of clothespin doll making goes back to the pioneer days, when things were so much simpler -- and beauty (and a new little doll to love) were in the eye of a little girl. Today, few patterns for these happy little dollies survive. The patterns I've found (you know, the ones that come in the bag with the doll pins!) are, at best, unimaginative. The dolls on these pages were made from my simple patterns -- and that's all they are...patterns. The dolls YOU make are limited only by your imagination. Make dolls like mine, with my instruction sheets, or let your own ideas evolve. Search the fabric departments for TINY fashion statements...become the fabric cutter lady's best friend with your "just a quarter yard please" orders!
Here on these pages is just enough of a beginning to help you spend precious moments with your children and grandchildren. This will mean more to you than any little doll you could buy. Try it! Create fun and love with a very simple craft and teach children about less complicated times. JUST LIKE HAPPY SUNFLOWERS....LOVE BLOOMS!!
I'll be adding patterns as time goes by -- thanks for visiting, and come back
again soon!
